A few days ago, in collaboration with UNHCR, the Playing For Change Foundation (PFCF), and To.org, we were thrilled to host the Bidibidi Music and Arts Festival. This vibrant event brought together our international partners, funders, and community members to celebrate cultural diversity and witness the unifying power of music. Over 1,200 people from both refugee and host communities gathered to share in a joyful celebration of cultural exchange, peace, love, and unity, demonstrating how music can break down barriers and foster peaceful coexistence.
We extend our deepest gratitude to To.org for their invaluable support in constructing the Bidibidi Music and Arts Centre. This centre has become a vital hub for creative expression, community engagement, and cultural preservation. We also thank the Playing For Change Foundation and all our partners for their unwavering commitment to our daily programming, which continues to provide a source of hope, healing, and connection within the Bidibidi Refugee Settlement.
If you believe in the transformative power of music and arts education to promote love, peace, and unity—especially among displaced communities—we invite you to join us in this mission. Together, we can continue to empower individuals, nurture talents, and bridge divides through the arts. For more information or to support our efforts, please contact us at sinaloketa@gmail.com.
