Since 2019, SINAL leadership has undertaken extensive cultural mapping efforts to best understand the cultural landscape, local and regional needs, and best practices to fill local cultural and creative voids. Currently, there are very limited cultural access points available to the underserved communities throughout the Yumbe and Koboko districts, and almost no professional creative opportunities. SINAL is working with local and international partners to address these needs through the construction of a state-of-the-art cultural center and innovative and otherwise unavailable cultural opportunities.
