In conclusion, the Women’s Public Speaking training in the Bidi Bidi Refugee settlement was a resounding success. Over 24 women and girls from six villages of Zone 2 Bidi Bidi Bidi benefited from hands-on exercises with various public speaking techniques. Despite facing challenging conditions, the women’s resilience and dedication were remarkable as they developed their communication skills and eagerness to learn. The workshop empowered these women and enhanced their public speaking skills, giving them a powerful tool to express themselves and amplify their voices in their communities. We are inspired by the transformative impact of the workshop, as women left with newfound self-assurance, communication skills and the ability to advocate for their rights. This workshop is a testament that anything is possible given the right opportunity. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to PFCF and everyone who made this workshop a success.
