Young Entrepreneurs Shaping the Future in Bidibidi

Last Friday, our weekly entrepreneurship pitching session at SINA Loketa became a powerful demonstration of what is possible when young people are trusted, challenged, and empowered to lead.

Inside our Innovation Hub in Bidibidi Refugee Settlement, refugee and host community entrepreneurs confidently presented bold ideas designed to tackle pressing social, environmental, and economic challenges. Their pitches reflected not only innovation and creativity, but also resilience, purpose, and a determination to build a better future for their communities.

We were honored to welcome Etienne Salborn, Founder of SINA, together with visitors from Corporate Rebels, whose thoughtful questions, expert feedback, and encouragement inspired our entrepreneurs to sharpen their vision and think beyond the limits of today’s challenges.

The day concluded with several outstanding teams receiving seed funding to begin transforming their ideas into real, impactful social enterprises. More than a financial contribution, this investment sends a powerful message: refugee and host community youth are not waiting for opportunities—they are creating them.
